Beth Crittenden
Beth is passionate about people getting free from whatever constricts them...working with money and finances is an area that lends itself well to reducing stress and really owning one's own value.
Beth began her career in fundraising for the UNC Chapel Hill Medical School, then moved to San Francisco in 1999. From there she worked in domestic violence prevention in the workplace (Family Violence Prevention Fund); career management education (Alumnae Resources); and then was the administrative manager for the UCSF Medical Center Neurology Outpatient Practice.
She stepped off the traditional career track at that point to study Somatic Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. That led to living and working for four years in an intensive spiritual community. A profound retreat experience in many ways, part of that study included relationship dynamics and best practices in communication and connection.
One of the students from that community was trained in the Dave Ramsey financial counseling model, and he kindly helped Beth start to get a grasp on the money thing. (Kicking and screaming, crying for much of it, Beth was blessed by his patience over those transformative years.) First for her own finances, and then later in an apprenticeship arrangement seeing his clients together.
Over time, Beth trained in small business administration, mediation, and addiction and codependency recoveries. (Along with re-engaging with deep passions for tennis and partner dancing.)
Since 2010 Beth has worked with a wide variety of individuals, couples, and business partners. All ages, races, cultures, and ways of identifying are welcome to work with Beth.
